Angela Thompson was born and raised in Ontario, Canada.
Growing up in a tattoo parlor gave me a pretty unique perspective on life. I’m sure that had a lot to do with me becoming a photographer and collage artist. In 2022, I discovered A.I. art and was instantly hooked—the endless creative possibilities let me express ideas I could never quite capture with a camera.
Why the name ‘Dalmatian Nation’?
My rescue Dalmatian, Budson, is actually my muse. When I first started experimenting with A.I. art, just about everything I created had a Dalmatian pattern worked into it. Now, a few years into my A.I. journey, my art has evolved in so many ways as I explore new styles and collaborate with other artists in the space. I love pushing concepts as far as they can go, learning new A.I. techniques, and seeing just how weird and wonderful things can get—it’s what I’m most passionate about.
